Haut Medoc: Chateau Haut Bellevue (Cru Bourgeois)
Nose of berries property ripe with some spicy notes. Smooth and elegant wine.
Tips: accompany with roasted red meat, grilled white meat or assorted cheese.
Incredible Pomerol: Chateau La Fleur Des Ormes
Family owned for several generations, alongside its vineyards vintages known
as Flower Trotanoy or the famous castle Petrus. Beautiful purple color, nose of
black fruit with notes spicy and vanilla. Very nice balance with silky tannins and
a nice roundness. A Pomerol bottle which none will be disappointed.
Top St. Emilion: Chateau Fonplegade 2005
“This hillside property, not far from Aneglus, has been completely renovated,
and the quality has risen with each new vintage. The finest wine I’ve tasted
over the last three decades is their 2005, which exhibits a dense purple color
as well as a sweet nose of black currant and cherry jam intermixed with
licorice, smoke, espresso roast, and scorched earth. Full-bodied with
impressive concentration, a beautiful texture, and a long, 40+ second finish,
this superb wine is unquestionably a sleeper of the vintage. (92/100)” –
Robert Parker

Sauternes, Bordeaux, France
Chateau Clos le Comte Winery
Celine and Jean-Michel Lecomte manage their vineyard in Preignac with enthusiasm and professionalism,
producing Graves and Sauternes wines that totally live up to the reputation of these prestigious appellations.
Vintage
Throughout 2005, the climate was ideal for the vine’s growth and encouraged the development of fruit with
ideal maturity. Harvest began on 20th September with an initial selection of superb, healthy, high-quality fruit.
Tasting Note: Cuvée Céline 2005
The wine’s aromas are characterised by wonderfully ripe, concentrated and complex fruit. The rich bouquet
contains abundant aromas of dried fruits, almonds, apricots, fresh citrus and peach blossom.
In the mouth the wine is well structured with a viscous, unctuous density resulting from the high levels of
botrytis. Beautiful acidity confers an excellent lively freshness on the wine. Spicy notes on the long finish belie
the wine’s excellent ageing potential.

Louis de Sacy: old records witness that vineyards existed in Verzy from the year 700 and the presence of the
Sacy family can be traced back as far as 1633. At the time Bartelemy Sacy owned a vineyard at “The Champ
Saint-Remi” near Verzy which is situated in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Since then the family has
always lived in Verzy and today Alain Sacy cultivates 20 hectares (75 acres) of grapes and produce Champagne
of the highest quality.

Domaine des Remizieres
The Domaine des Remizieres is a family winery since three generations. A
vineyard at the origin of approximately 4 hectares, a part of the production
was delivering to the cooperative cellar. From 1973, the vinification is
completely made on the domain.
Robert Parker quotes:
“An excellent source of white wines, readers should not miss the gorgeous 2006s, which eclipse the very good
2005s. The 2005 whites are leaner and more austere, with good acidity, but perhaps not the charming aromatics
or lusciousness of the 2006.”
“The 2006 Crozes-Hermitage Autrement (I believe this is the name it will be given) is a luxury cuvee of
super-concentrated wine.”

Reserve Shiraz 2006
Opulent berry and spicy fruit aromas with raspberry and white pepper that is beautifully enhanced with sweet
sexy oak. The middle palate explodes with rich ripe flavors including dark plum liquorices and chocolate that
flows onto a superb finish of integrated acid and silky tannins. 92 points James Halliday

We envied our French and Italian mates who made just the wines they wanted to make. With no money to set up our own
wineries, we just made a few barrels in garages. Fantastic wines came out of tin sheds! Wine shippers in the UK and the
US loved the stuff. We got backing and set up 'Red Heads Studio’ in an old curry restaurant we bought on the road out of
McLaren Vale. ‘Red Heads’ was just the name of the restaurant. Great name! We kept it. This is now where the
keenestwinemakers come after work to 'do their thing'. British, American, Aussie and even French customers love the
idea of these red wine 'heads' fanatically working away through the night making the great little wines they always
wanted to make.
In just a few short years, ‘Red Heads Studio Winery’ has cemented itself as producing some of the most exciting and
cutting edge wine brands ever seen. In addition, the wine itself has been given the thumbs up from some of the world’s
most influential critics.
“As the hilarious label says, “Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Taste No Evil.” A saturated ruby/purple color is
accompanied by aromas and flavors of blackberries and licorice in this medium to full-bodied, classic
Australian fruit bomb. Pure, ripe, and undeniably delicious....90/100 (2004 vintage)”
- Robert Parker Jnr. The Wine Advocate Oct 2006
“The 2008 Yard Dog is composed of 50% Chardonnay, 15% Gewurztraminer, 15% Sauvignon Blanc,10%
Semillon, and 10% Viognier. It is medium straw-colored with an amber tint and an expressive floral, citrus,
and peach-scented perfume. This intriguing blend is dry, forward, tasty, and nicely balanced. Drink it over the
next 12-18 months. 88/100”
- Jay Miller Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate Oct 2007
“2006 Yard Dog Red South Australia (55% petit verdot, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 15% merlot): Deep ruby.
Powerful cherry and plum aromas are brightened by minerals and dried flowers. Strong bitter cherry and dark
berry flavors are nicely framed by dusty tannins and pick up a bitter fruit pit quality on the back end. Finishes
with youthful tannic grip and impressive persistence. More serious and structured than just about any other
wine at this price I tried this year. Believe it or not, this will reward a few years of bottle aging.”
