Larson Texts Internships
for College Students
(Including Tuition
Assistance)
Our interns are math majors at one of the colleges in the Erie area.
Some companies ask their interns to work for free. Our interns receive a competitive
hourly wage. Our interns typically work between 15 and 20 hours per week (more during
college breaks). During the summer our interns typically work 40 hours per week.
The work consists of helping with the production of our mathematics texts by proofing
examples, solving exercises, and working as an online tutor at www.CalcChat.com.
Interns who work at least 1000 hours per year are eligible for tuition assistance of up to
$5,000. To qualify for this assistance, an intern must be a full-time student at an
accredited college and must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0.
Upon graduation, interns who accept full-time employment with Larson Texts qualify for
an additional annual tuition reimbursement of up to $5,000.
