Cutting Costs in Workers` Comp: New Thoughts

Cutting Costs in Workers’ Comp:
New Thoughts on an Old Nemesis
Presented by the North Carolina Association of Self-Insurers
March 30 - April 1, 2016 | Holiday Inn Resort | Wrightsville Beach, NC
Cutting Costs in Workers’ Comp: New Thoughts on an Old Nemesis
Overview
There are no easy answers on how to reduce costs in workers’ compensation but that does not mean the discussion is futile.
Our intrepid presenters suggest new ways of thinking about this perennial challenge: reconsidering job analyses and
ergonomic assessments, improving communication across the several generations at work, using a vigorous behavior-based
safety process, to name a few promising avenues. Costs averted are but another form of cost savings.
The annual conference of the NC Association of Self-Insurers is an ideal forum to network with your peers and potential
customers and learn about emerging developments in workers’ compensation. The conference provides valuable continuing
education credits for adjusters and lawyers, and an excellent opportunity for sponsors and exhibitors.
