“Spirit or Ego and Who I Am is Which One I Obey”
Paul relates in Corinthians that the natural appears before the spiritual for the purpose of an
example (natural) and identity (spiritual).
Adam, a natural man, was driven by his “Ego.”
Jesus, the last Adam, a spiritual man, was driven by his “Spirit.”
A natural man is a creator and creates “Death” led by his “Ego.”
A spiritual man is a creator and creates “Life” led by his “Spirit.”
Moses offered mankind again, the same thing God originally offered Adam, “I set before you, life
and death, blessings and cursing. Choose life that you and your children may live.”
Adam created death as an example of his “Ego.”
Jesus abolished death by identifying with his “Spirit.”
I see what Adam prepared but I identify with what Jesus ensured.
Jesus only had “Followers” before he was crucified and resurrected.
His “Followers” and like all mankind, their spirits were created in the image and likeness of God.
After Jesus resurrection, his former followers identified and embraced “Salvation” and became
human sons of God, like Jesus.
I was created an eternal spirit, like God and I am having an evolving human experience that
was enhanced when I received “Salvation” and became a human son of God, like Jesus.
A baby eaglet needs its mother until she leaves forever and then the eaglet became an “Eagle” like
its mother.
I identify with an Eagle since I am a son of God, like Jesus, and now, not needing Jesus, my
responsibility is to be a co-creator, like Jesus, with God and extend His Kingdom on earth.
I shared life with my human father as an example.
Now I share life with my Godly Father as my identity.
I am a “Co-Creator” with God and I am extending His Kingdom on earth, like Jesus did.
Ezekiel prophesied the four characters Jesus would embody. He was man, born of a woman,
represented by the man, Jesus. He was a king, born of God, represented by a lion. He was a
servant, represented by an ox. He was an eagle, representing his life.
I extrapolated these four characters of Jesus into my life for my identity. I am a “Man,” born of a
woman. I am a “King” created in the image and likeness of God. I am a “Servant,” like Jesus, to
mankind. Like an “Eagle” no longer needs to guide her eaglets; Jesus depends on me to continue
extending the Kingdom of God on earth.
A mother Eagle decides the correct time her eaglets no longer need her and she flies high into the
sky and releases one of her eaglets. The mother Eagle has to catch her little eaglets several times
but one time she doesn’t rescue her baby and the eaglet becomes an Eagle as it must fly or die.
