USA JUMP ROPE 2015 JUDGE/VOLUNTEER NOMINATION FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY Two Weeks After Your Regional Tournament PLEASE MAIL OR EMAIL TO: Cindy Bork 11337 Old Hopkins Rd. Clarksville, MD 21029 [email protected] 2015 U.S. NATIONAL JUMP ROPE CHAMPIONSHIP JUDGE AND VOLUNTEER NOMINATIONS Dear Coaches, You as a coach need to nominate one USAJR certified judge from your team for every four jumpers that you have competing. All teams are required to nominate judges, but not all nominated judges will be selected. Judges are selected based on level of experience and the need to create judging panels that are regionally balanced. All judges that you nominate MUST be planning to attend all days of competition (June 29-July 2), and they must be willing and able to judge if selected. Judges and Officials should be current USAJR members. As stated in the 2015 USAJR Competition Rulebook, p. 25 Section 301, teams are required to provide a ratio of judges to jumpers as follows: 1-4 jumpers: team must supply a minimum of 1 judge (any level); 5-8 jumpers: team must supply a minimum of 1 Level 1 judge and 1 Level 2 judge; 9-12 jumpers: team must supply a minimum of 3 judges, one of which must be a Level 2 judge; The number of judges continues to increase as the number of jumpers increases. Exceptions will be handled on a case by case basis by the tournament director. Teams will be assessed a fee of $150 per judge for each judge below the minimum requirement that is not supplied at the national tournament level. USA Jump Rope is once again running this event by utilizing volunteers from every region and there is a volunteer requirement similar to the judging requirement. Every team must nominate one volunteer for every eight jumpers. These volunteers are in addition to the judging requirement stated above and they will be used in various capacities such as tabulators, check-in clerks, set-up and break down of the event, ushers, and other necessary tasks to make our event a success. Judges nominated but not assigned to judge may be used to help fill these volunteer positions. Judges and Volunteers may wear a plain white shirt or a judging shirt they already own. USAJR has judging shirts and zip-up hoodies available by pre-order for anyone wishing to purchase. This order form is included as part of this packet. Please fill out all of the information, and send a copy of the nomination form by your team’s registration deadline, which is two weeks after your regional tournament. You can return it via e-mail to [email protected] or by mail to: Cindy Bork, 11337 Old Hopkins Rd., Clarksville, MD 21029 A letter will be sent to you via e-mail in early June announcing the judges and volunteers that are selected.
