March is Youth Art Month!
Let's celebrate! March is Youth Art
Month. Make art together as a family.
Vist the art museum. Talk with your kids
about what they are creating in art and
the artists they are learning about. In the
month of March, there will be a small district show at the Administration building
showcasing our wonderful student work.
Art work will also be on display in March
at the Cudahy Public Library.

Irish Dance!
Glencastle Irish Dancers will be
performing for Lincoln students
on Thursday, March 16th at
9:00 a.m.
Glencastle Irish Dancers teach
traditional Irish dancing to kids
and adults. These dancers
compete in competitions as
individuals and as teams and
also do performances and parades.
Come check out
the District Math
Counts competition on March 22,
2017 at 6:30 p.m.

The 3rd Quarter PBIS goal
is: Showing respect to staff
and other students.
Students are working hard to
meet the goal. The school will
celebrate with an ice cream Sunday party if the goal is met!

5th GRADE PARENTS
All Students entering 6th Grade must have a Tdap vaccine. They must receive the shot before school starts
in September 2017!
HPV and Meningitis vaccines are recommended at this age, but not
required.
Contact your doctor or the health department to schedule an appointment for missing shots.

Lincoln Elementary is celebrating
Read Across America this week
(2/27-3/4).
Spring Break:
April 14-21
K5 ENROLLMENT:
Students currently enrolled in a
Cudahy K4 program will automatically be added to the K5
roster. 5 year old students not
enrolled in K4 need to contact
the school to complete paperwork.

Monday (2/27)-Wear silly socks
to school! Bookmarks will be
given to students and daily announcements start with Dr.
Seuss quotes.
Tuesday (2/28)-Enjoy Dr. Seuss
cartoons during lunch.

Friday (3/4)-Wear red & white
stripes to school and participate
in a “Reading Blackout!” Students can spend 15 minutes in
the gymnasium, with the lights
out, reading with a flashlight they
bring.

get to listen to our guest Community Readers!
