LPR/ANPR (also known as Automated Number Plate Recognition) possesses all the features a
high quality license plate recognition system may requires. It is highly accurate, fail safe and
stable, fast and intelligent, providing performance exceeding that of many competing license
plate readers.
License Plate Information is stored in database form and is searchable by date, time, and
partial (or complete) plate numbers. The plate information is also made accessible to thirdparty software through an API, allowing extensive use of plate data for any desired application,

Aventura’s Licentia LPR software offers general-purpose license plate reading from digital
pictures from any source. From megapixel images with 12-bit color depth to standard CIF
recording from analog CCTV cameras, the engine processes the information available from
the source imagery with accuracy approaching that of a human. Proper LPR functionality
does not require expert training.
The software intelligently adapts to most applications, including various plate types and
lighting conditions, without requiring the tuning of parameters and settings like some
competing platforms. In optimal conditions, Aventura LPR can exceed 99% accuracy.
