Hannah House Maternity Home is a place of
new beginnings for a woman and her unborn child.
Have you stopped lately to reflect upon the
many ways that God has blessed you?
Are so busy “living your life” that you’ve forgotten all that God has done for you?
We often take things for granted rather than being grateful.
Things like a safe and secure place to live, a comfortable bed to
sleep in, food on the table, family and friends surrounding us and
a future that is filled with hope.
Most of the young women, who come to Hannah House
Maternity Home, don’t have any of the things that we often take
for granted every day.
Instead their lives are filled with anxiety not only because they
are expecting a baby, but they have no place to live, no income,
no one to support them and worst of all, little hope.
Hannah House Maternity Home provides a place that is safe and
comfortable for pregnant women ,18 years and older ,who are
needing a new beginning for their lives and their baby.
There the women have their physical needs met including prenatal medical treatment, counseling for emotional support and
the spiritual guidance to restore hope with their lives.
Count Your
Blessings…
Be A Blessing!
Here is a simple way to
encourage your family
members to be more
grateful for God’s
blessings in their lives.
Create a “Count Your Blessings Jar”
Place a quart jar with a sign, “Count Your Blessings.”
Put it in conspicuous place such as the dining room table or
kitchen counter.
Every day, gather together as a family and share a blessing
that received that day.
Express your gratitude in God in prayer
And then place a penny, nickel, quarter, dollar or whatever
amount you decide in the jar.
Repeat daily throughout the month of November.
Then bless someone or some ministry the money from the jar.
