Writing competition
Would you like to see your poem on a bench in Rowntree Park? Writers in the
park is holding a competition.
Winning poems from the 9-13 age group and 14-17 age group will be displayed
through QR codes on the park benches. You will need a smart phone to access
them at the benches, but they will also be in the park café in a folder and on the
Rowntree Park website (www.rowntreepark.co.uk). We may be getting them
recorded so that people can listen to them too.
Guidelines:




The theme is: Winter
Poems can be up to 40 lines
Deadline for submissions is March 31st, 2016
