 The Badgers have rushed for 2,369 yards
in their first seven games — 678 more than
they had through seven games in 2013,
when they set the single-season school
record of 3,689 yards.
 Wisconsin has run for at least 250 yards in
six of its first seven games, including two
400-yard performances, on its way to average 338.4 rushing yards per game. Georgia
Tech (326.1) is the only other team from a
Power Five conference averaging at least
300 rushing yards.
 Wisconsin is the nation’s lone team this
season to boast three 100-yard rushers in
the same game, with Melvin Gordon (253),
Tanner McEvoy (158) and Corey Clement
(111) combining to do so vs. Bowling
Green. UW achieved the feat three times
last season and has done so five times in its
last 19 games. Prior to that, UW had a trio
of 100-yard rushers in the same game just
once, at Indiana on Nov. 8, 2008.
 No team in the country is running the
ball more proficiently while also holding
opponents in check on the ground as well
as the Badgers, who are outgaining their
opponents by an average of 231.7 yards per
game to boast the nation’s largest rushing
yardage margin:
