Accessing the online modules
For Mac users:
1. Upload the zip file to both Dropbox and onto your MAC
2. Open the zip file on your MAC and open the file "player.html" and click 'OPEN'
3. The browser will launch and you'll have to allow for Adobe Flash Player Security to proceed by
clicking "OK". The module should play directly on the browser. An alternative is to open the module in
PARALLELS for Mac using the instructions for PC below.
For PC users:
1. If you have Zip software, download and unzip the file. Otherwise, it should open with Windows
Explorer.
2. Download the folder. This folder contains six items - two folders called data and player and four
items called autorun, loader, player, and Launch Presentation.
3. If you download using Windows Explorer, click on Launch Presentation and the files will be
extracted. If you get the Zip file, just unzip it as usual. The files usually extract to your Documents
folder but check in the destination location to ensure you know where they went.
4. The extraction will produce another folder with the same six items - two folders called data and
player and four items called autorun, loader, player, and Launch Presentation but this time the files
are unzipped.
5. Click on Launch Presentation and the module will run. You will likely need to be connected to the
internet for the module to work best.
6. The presentation opens in OUTLINE view
7. You can navigate through the module with the navigation buttons on the bottom or clicking on the
slide name on the left when you are in OUTLINE view
8. The attachments can be found by clicking on the ATTACHMENT bar in the upper right corner. Click
on the article you want to access. You will need Internet Explore to open the files and Internet
explorer may block them until you allow ActiveX content.
