Over 80% of the population lives along the northern coast which is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean. In the capital city of Georgetown and its environs, almost one-‐third of the national population resides. There are also 5 towns. Area in sq KM: 215,000 sq km Languages spoken: English (official).
