Read and analyze “Good Country People” by Flannery O’Connor

a. TYPE a (20) Bullet outline of the story WHILE YOU READ --not after. You must focus on the important details. Write in
complete sentences, not fragments. Write at least two (2)
complete sentences per bullet.
b. Outline the plot using the following categories: exposition,
rising action, climax (turning point) and resolution. Write a few
sentences for each stage of the plot.
c. Identify five (5) significant lines of dialogue, or narrative
passages from the text. Type the line out and then write to
explain the context and significance of your choice.
Answer this question (for each): Why is this passage important
to the development of the story? You must write a response for
each quote. A few sentences are needed for each quote.
d. TYPE a paragraph to explain your personal response to the
story. Explain your ideas and support with specific references to
text
