Ambu® ACTion™ Fuser Pain Pump, a disposable pain pump that is mainly designed to give consistent
and customized pain therapy through surgical site infiltration therapy (SSI).
The ability and simplicity to fit the catheter infusion segment to the actual incision length together with
the ability to set the infusion strategy parameters to gain an efficient saturation along the entire
incision is a major advantage of Ambu® ACTion™ Fuser Pain Pump over other pain therapy alternatives.
Ambu® ACTion™ Fuser is intended to be used in hospitals, alternative care sites and at home and
consists of two components; Compression Unit (reservoir) and ACTion™ Fuser Set (regulating set), each
in a separate sterile package.
Such configuration enables users:
(a) to fill the reservoir at a different location while maintaining the sterility of the regulating set
(b) exchange the regulating set in case the flow rate has been locked, but needs to be changed
Regulator
An innovative, patented mechanical flow regulator with exceptional features. Regulator maintains a
uniform accurate flow rate regardless of changes in administration pressure. Furthermore, it enables the
health care provider to select and lock ANY flow rate within its range immediately following priming.
MultiBolus (optional)
A unique patented multivolume mechanical bolus that enables the medical team to select and lock the
bolus volume that best suits the patient’s needs.

a filtration sterilization to avoid any contamination that might occur when filling the reservoir.
