aloud the text on each page as you help students follow
the directions below.
Directions for Each Student
1. Booklet cover: write your name.
2. Booklet pages 1–3: circle the picture that illustrates
the featured word or phrase and cross out the
picture that does not.
3. Booklet backing: draw or write on the wing what you
can do to be like Martin Luther King Jr.
4. Cut out the booklet cover, pages, and backing. Stack
the cover and pages in order atop the booklet
backing, aligning them where indicated. Then staple
them along the left side.
