PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ACCESSORIES
The 1X4 Fiber-TX Port Replicator produces duplicate copies of network traffic from multimode fiber to standard UTP
Cat 5 cable. Unlike taps, the Port Replicator is not an Inline
device. It is used to provide 4 identical copies of the same
signal to analyzers, security devices or data capture devices. Any data source can be used, such as span port from a
switch, a packet generator or the output of a Tap. Available
fiber modes are SX, LX or ZX.
The input traffic is received on a single gigabit input
port and does not allow outbound traffic. All four output
ports are 10/100/1000 and any traffic sent into the output
ports is ignored.

GENERAL APPLICATION

Designed to maintain network connectivity during power loss, these Taps also consistently deliver zero data loss
while replicating network traffic to the monitoring ports even when cable lengths exceed the 100m IEEE limit.
