All students and teachers are invited to audition for the 1st Our Town Variety
Show. Please submit your audition form to the school office in any of the three
buildings. Due to time constraints, we must limit the show to a certain number
of acts, so not everyone who auditions will be able to perform in the final show.
Audition Guidelines
 No lip-synching - Singers must have an instrumental accompaniment CD, live
musical instruments, karaoke CD, or sing a cappella
 All music must be on a CD -- this is for dancers and singers
 Inappropriate acts will not be allowed
o Dance moves, lyrics, skits, costumes and jokes must be appropriate
 Students may perform in only ONE act
o Whole class acts do not count as their one act
 No gymnastics routines
 Acts should be 5 minutes or less
 Family and community acts are welcome
 Priority given to acts who tie their act into the theme “Our Town” or who
connect to the idea of Small Town, Big Dreams
Auditions will be held in each of the three buildings after school on March 24th
and March 25th. Once we receive audition forms we will assign audition times.
Audition forms can be turned into the school office at any of the three
buildings. All audition forms must be turned in by Wednesday, March 18.
Parents must either be present or close by to take their child home after
auditions. Students who are part of the show will also need to be available
Thursday, April 23 for a dress rehearsal at 5:30pm in the high school.
~Ticket prices are set at $5 each for the show~
