EXPLORING THE PRINCIPLES
OF LEADERSHIP
Leadership has been described as 'evolving
self-discovery' – we LEARN leadership through
experience, feedback, reflection, role models, theory
and discovering our passions and goals. Within this
session leadership will be explored as a capacity that
all members within a group possess.
PERSONALITY DIMENSIONS®
How do you approach a situation that is new to you or
make decisions? Personality Dimensions ® (PD) is a
self-discovery process which helps to explain what
motivates behaviour in people with different
personalities.
GLOBAL INTELLIGENCE
What does "global citizen" mean to you? This
workshop will explore thinking globally and
appreciating cultural diversity - factors important for
future leaders and their ability to adapt to the
ever-changing and challenging work/team
environment.
NEW TO A TEAM
Commitment to a shared vision or goal. Open and
honest communication. Mutual respect and trust. Most
would agree that these are all qualities and
characteristics of an effective team - but what if team
members are new - what leadership style is needed?
COMMUNICATION AND
LEADERSHIP STYLES
Leadership requires us to connect with others and
every leader has their distinct way of adapting their
communication. Do you have a variety of
communication and leadership styles?
PRESENTATION SKILLS
What key elements make a speaker connect with an
audience? Have you been in a situation where you
have practiced and practiced what you were going to
say and then felt after your presentation you hadn't
related well to the audience? What's up?
SUNDAY
CONFLICT MANAGEMENT
EXPLORATION
Ever shy away from a situation involving conflict?
Unsure how best to handle the situation? Worried that
the situation will escalate and get out of control?
Conflict doesn't always have to be destructive. Conflicts
can be opportunities to generate growth and
strengthen relationships when approached in the right
way.
