58% submitted more than one application and 74% submitted at
least one application. Awesome!

Unlike the majority of Minnesota students, who apply to and
attend schools in the five state region (Minnesota, Wisconsin,
South Dakota, North Dakota and Iowa), SPCPA students consider
opportunities further afield. The fact that Minnesota has
received 29% of the applications submitted is a good indication
that SPCPA students have heeded the suggestion to include a
local option in their college list. SPCPA students only have access
to income based Minnesota State Grants if they attend a
Minnesota school. Knowing the impact of this potential piece of
a financial aid package helps ensure that students have the
ability to choose the college option that is both affordable and
best positioned to meet their academic and career interests.
