Sir/Madam,
Prasar Bharati has decided to print its “Directory of Addresses of Prasar Bharati
Corporation (DD & AIR)”. The Tender Document is enclosed herewith for your
reference. The last date for submitting the tender document is 15th May, 2012
at 5:00 PM and the same will be open on 16th May, 2012, 2012 at 12:30 noon in
the Chamber of the undersigned. The job shall be assigned to the firm offering
most competitive rate.

Subject : Printing of Directory of Addresses of Prasar Bharati Corporation
(DDn & AIR).
Introduction : Prasar Bharati invites sealed quotations under for printing of its
“Directory of Addresses of Prasar Bharati Corporation(DDn & AIR)”.
Directory of Addresses Specifications : The Directory of Addresses shall have
approximately 128 pages (124 + 4) including cover, which will be printed on 130
gsm imported art paper in multicolor. The cover page will be 300 gsm imported art
paper with matt lamination. UV lamination is also desired on cover page/certain
cover page patches. The “Directory of Addresses” shall also have photographs.
The “Directory of Addresses” should have perfect binding. 3,000 copies shall be
printed in English.
How to apply: The interested firms should submit their bids in one envelope superscribed “Financial Bid for “Directory of Addresses of Prasar Bharati Corporation
(DDn & AIR)” should contain: 1. Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) in the
form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘PBBCI’ (EMD of unsuccessful
bidders will be returned).
2. The envelope may also contain one all inclusive figure indicating the cost
of typesetting, printing, fabricating, binding and delivering the ‘Directory of
Addresses’ at the Prasar Bharati Sectt. in New Delhi. The marginal cost of
printing 4 additional pages.
Last Date : The last date for receiving completed quotations is 15th May, 2012 at
05:00 PM.
Opening Date: The opening date for quotations is same day 16th May, 2012 at
12:30.
Evaluation :
The financial bids of all the firms participated in the tender shall be
scrutinized by the Evaluation Committee of Prasar Bharati. The representatives of
the short listed firms are welcome to be present during the opening of financial bids.

Time is the essence of contract. If the firm fails to adhere to the agreed
time schedule (approximately 10 working days from the date of placement
of order) Prasar Bharati reserves the right to summarily terminate the
contract and no compensation whatsoever can be claimed by the firms
including the EMD given at the time of bidding.
“Directory of Addresses of Prasar Bharati Corporation” being the
prestigious publication all care should be taken to ensure quality
reproduction and high standards of printing and binding.
In case the final product is found to be falling short of specified standards
the entire consignment will be subjected to rejection.
The payment shall be made within 30 days after the successful completion
of tender.
The rate quoted in the tender shall be valid for 90 days from the date of
submission of tender.
Any dispute regarding the job will be resolved through mutual
consultations failing which the matter shall be referred to an Arbitrator
nominated by the CEO, Prasar Bharati. The arbitration procedure shall be
conducted as per the provisions of the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation
Act 1996. The venue of arbitration shall be New Delhi.
The decision of CEO, Prasar Bharati is final on all matters pertaining to the
award of the job.

80 + cover, then the net value shall be Rs 1,92,000/- (Rs2,00,000 – 8,000 + Rs 1,92,000)
