concrete ields.WithaUSDepartmentofLabor(DOL)accreditedapprentice
program,TheGallegosCorporationprovideson‐the‐jobandin‐the‐classroom
trainingtomotivatedindividualswithaninterestinbeginningacareerwhile
also building some of the most distinctive projects in the western United
States.
TheGallegosCorporationhaspartneredwiththeNationalCenterfor
ConstructionEducationandResearch(NCCER)toofferweeklyclassroom
educationtoGallegosemployeesinmasonryandconcrete.Studentslearnall
aspects of stone, brick, block, concrete foundations, and concrete latwork
installationsinbothaclassroomandon‐the‐jobatmosphere.Whenstudents
arenotintheclassroom,theywillbeonjobsiteslearningtoinstallmasonry
and concrete products while earning a competitive wage. Upon graduation,
eachstudentisDOLandNCCERcerti iedintheirtrade.
Apprenticesmustbeatleast18yearsofage.Apprenticesshouldbephysi‐
callycapableoftheworkwithoutposingathreattothesafetyorhealthof
themselvesorothers.
