Faults and inclined boreholes I: Normal faults

The convenient rule that a normal fault causes missing section is
valid for a vertical borehole. However, if a borehole is inclined more than
a normal fault that it intersects, the opposite happens: section is repeated.
In this example, one borehole exhibits both relationships relative to a
normal fault.
A second PGSG page shows that the similarly convenient rule of repeated
section at a reverse fault can likewise be inverted by an inclined borehole.
