COSCO HEAVY TRANSPORT PROJECT, HEAVY LIFT & BREAK BULK COSCO HEAVY TRANSPORT After more than twenty-five years of close and productive cooperation in providing safe and efficient world-wide ocean transportation for a wide variety of offshore and onshore industry cargoes, COSCO Shipping Company, Ltd. and NMA Maritime & Offshore Contractors B.V. formed two Joint Ventures separately in the Netherlands and in the U.S.A in late 2012. The Joint Venture companies, COSCO Shipping Europe B.V. and COSCO Shipping Americas Inc., market the vessels of COSCO Shipping Company Ltd. under the trade name of COSCO Heavy Transport. COSCO Heavy Transport specializes in the handling of heavy-lift cargoes and has a long and widely recognized track record of providing safe and fast transports and installations of a variety of large offshore equipment by means of Float-on/Float-off, Roll-on/Roll-off and Lift-on/Lift-off operations. The vessels are manned by highly trained officers and crew and supported by top qualified and experienced on-shore technical and commercial personnel. We have dedicated ourselves to serving our clients’ needs and we consult and coordinate closely with clients to ensure that their requirements are fully met. The West Coast of South America is serviced via Australia and New Zealand. • Schedule Interval: One scheduled sailing to the West Coast of South America per month; One scheduled sailing to the East Coast of South America per month; One scheduled sailing to the Caribbean and U.S. Gulf Coast Areas per month. • The European Line services the Far East to the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, Europe and North Africa. • Schedule Interval: 4-5 scheduled sailings per month. Persian Gulf/Red Sea Line African Line • The Persian Gulf/ Red Sea Line services the Far East to the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea. • Schedule Interval: 3-4 schedule sailings to the Persian Gulf per month; 2-3 scheduled sailings to the Red Sea per month. • The African Line services the Far East to East Africa, South Africa and West Africa. • Schedule Interval: 4-6 scheduled sailings per month. Southeast Asian Line • Southeast Asian Line services the Far East to India, Bengal, Burma and Southeast Asia. • Schedule interval: 8-10 schedules per month.
