Lesson 10.7 Multiply Mixed Numbers

Lesson 10.7 Multiply Mixed Numbers
I can multiply mixed numbers
Steps
1. Convert the mixed number(s) into fraction(s)
a. Whole # x denominator + numerator = numerator
b. Denominator = denominator
2. Multiply the numerators: that answer is the new numerator
3. Multiply the denominators: that answer is the new denominator
4. Put answer into simplest form
Example:
