NACMPA co-organized the 15th Asia-Oceania Congress of Medical
Physics (AOCMP) annual meeting (jointly held by Chinese Society of
Medical Physics (CSMP)) in the historical city of Xi’an, China,
November 6-8, 2015, as well as the 1st Hefei International Forum for
Radiological Medical Physics, in Hefei, China, June 13-14, 2015.
Many prominent NACMPA members have served as scientific committee members, keynote
speakers and invited speakers, for the aforementioned conferences and several other medical
physics meetings held in China, they include Drs. Jun Deng, Lei Dong, Jianyue Jin, Zuofeng Li,
Allen Li, Xiaoming Lu, Charlie Ma, Jie Shi, Brian Wang, Raymond Wu, Ying Xiao, Ping Xia,
Lei Xing, Jack Yang, FangFang Yin, and Ning J. Yue. Their lectures cover a broad scope of
medical physics research and practice, such as big data in RT, proton therapy, image registration,
quality assurance, stereotactic body radiotherapy, etc.
Besides the on-going meetings, we also have broadened our scopes to participate in many
trainings and seminars in China and Asia-Pacific regions, with our members’ efforts to devote
their knowledge, time and expertise to help improve the medical physics profession with our
international colleagues. We hope to continue this great tradition in coming years and to make
the NACMPA a great society. Welcome to our annual meeting!

About NACMPA
The North American Chinese Medical Physicist Association (NACMPA) was
founded in United States, 1995. The goals of NACMPA are:
- To promote interests in the field of physics in medicine and biology.
- To improve the practice of medical physics in its application to human health care.
- To provide a forum for scientific exchange and interactions for medical physicists
in North America, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other Asian Oceanic Countries.
-To organize activities that promote scientific exchange of information worldwide.
After 21 years of continuous grow, NACMPA became a truly international
organization with 480 registered members, including 36 from outside the North
America. Since 1995, NACMPA annually hosted a dinner meeting during the AAPM
annual meeting. It became a great occasion for colleagues to get together, change
ideas, and taste the best local Chinese food. With the increasing international
recognition, NACMPA successfully hosted the first international conference for
Chinese medical physicists around the world in Lijiang, China, 2011.
We can never go this far without the support from our members and the dedication
of our officers. Here we would like to give our earnest appreciation to you.
Meanwhile, we like to encourage and welcome more medical physicists, residents,
and students to join our community. Please find the membership application form in
the following page. We also listed the past NACMPA officers to honor their
contribution to this society. Thank you!
