The Iron Curtain is the imaginary line that
divided the democratic nations in the West, and
the Communist states under Soviet Control in
the East.

Cold War- A political, economic, and military
rivalry between the Soviet Union and the
democratic nations in the West. This war was
fought through words (propaganda) and a
buildup of weapons (an arms race).
