What is the best invention of all time?

What is the best
invention of all
time?
Electricity is my favorite invention because when
it’s dark outside you can’t see. You would have to
use a lantern or a candle. Now, we have electricity
so we can see. We do not have to use lanterns or
candles. The guy who invented it was Ben Franklin.
William Norton, 3rd grade, St. Dominic School,
Dr. Carr
The best invention of all time that I think is
spectacular is a refrigerator. It’s awesome! I don’t
know about you but it stores those awesome
brownies and other foods that are about to go in
your mouth. It keeps them cold so you don’t have to
throw them away. This is the invention that I think is
awesome!
Angelina Kerney, 4th grade, Miller Perry Elementary
School, Ms. Jeffers
I think a pencil is the best invention of all time! I
am also going to tell you three things that make it
the best invention ever. A pencil can keep track of
what we are doing. It is so useful. We can entertain
ourselves by drawing, writing, and making letters.
You can make a story. And other people can read it,
and by the way I love to make stories. So now you
know why I think that a pencil is the best invention
ever.
The greatest invention of all time is the stuffed
animal because I love them.
Billy Balthis, Kindergarten, Hilton Elementary School,
Ms. Mullins
The best invention is a key because it helps you get
in. Braylie Chaffin, Kindergarten, Hilton Elementary School,
Ms. Edwards
The best invention would be a car. A car is the best
invention because if we didn’t have cars then we
couldn’t go to far places. A car is the best invention
because if we didn’t have cars then we would have
to walk everywhere. A car is the best invention
because if we didn’t have cars then we would have
to walk to stores to get food. That’s why cars are
the best invention.
Braxton Rasnake, 2nd grade, Rock Springs Elementary
School, Ms. Charlton
The greatest invention is a mirror. It’s really hard to
make. It is really easy to break. I can look in it to
see if my teeth are clean. It is really awesome that
you can see yourself.
Jacob Horton, 3rd grade, Duffield Primary School,
Ms. Hurd
The best invention of all time is a plane, because it’s
big. It is fun and it can go very high up in the sky. It
has big engines. If you get on one make sure you
chew gum.
Dakotah Monroe, 3rd grade, Mt. Carmel Elementary School,
Ms. Bledsoe
Logan Rosamond, 4th grade, Miller Perry Elementary
School, Ms. Jeffers
The microscope is the best invention of all time.
Microscopes have impacted the world through the
scientific and medical fields. It helps scientists see
the make-up of all creatures and plants. It allows
doctors to see bad bacteria in blood resulting in
getting sick patients better. Microscopes let people
see tiny organisms that are unseen to the human
eye. They also help people understand what
humans are made of and these are a few reasons
why the microscope is the best invention of all time.
Hunter Lawson, 5th grade, Weber City Elementary School,
Mrs. Webb
To me the best invention of all time would be books.
I think they are the greatest invention because
they are filled with stories that will take you on
adventures. Also, books are filled with amazing facts
about history. This and many other reasons are why
I think books are the greatest invention of all time.
Molly Ramsey, 5th grade, Holston Elementary School, Ms.
Rutherford
What is the greatest invention of all time? I think
that medicine especially immunizations also called
vaccines are the greatest inventions of all time. Immunizations prevent such illnesses as polio,
smallpox, measles, chicken pox, flu, shingles and
pneumonia. They help your body build immunity
against disease. They help to prevent the spread of
some diseases. In the past many people including
children died because there were no vaccines. Doctors did not know how to treat these diseases. Today, children and adults live healthier lives due to
advancements in medicine. These are the reasons
vaccines are the greatest inventions of all time.
Jordin Chapman, 6th grade, Shoemaker Elementary School,
Ms. Clark
I believe that the best invention of all time is a
camera! I think it is the best invention because
you can relive memories. Pictures are important
pictures tools used to teach about the past. Pictures
allow us to remember our family and friends. These
are a few reasons I believe the best invention of all
time is the camera.
Bailee Porter, 6th grade, Shoemaker Elementary School,
Ms. Garrett
One of the greatest inventions of all time is the
microwave. I think the microwave is great because it
cooks food fast. Also, I can cook it by myself. Lastly,
my mom doesn’t always have time to cook, so the
microwave makes dinner super convenient. This is
why the microwave is the greatest invention of all
time.
Isabel Sallee, 6th grade, Yuma Elementary School,
Ms. Mullins
The best invention is the stove. You can bake stuff
in the oven or cook on it on the top of the stove. You
can keep food warm. If the stove were not invented
we would still be using fire to cook our meat on it. I
thank the people who invented the stove.
Kaitlin Tomlinson, 7th grade, Pennington Middle School,
Mrs. Jones/Mrs. Edwards
The best invention ever would probably have to be
the iPhone. The reason I believe this is because you
can pretty much do anything you want on it. Instead
of having to write letters and use a home phone, you
can just send a text message and call the person
right then. Another reason why I think the iPhone is
the best invention of all time would be that you can
do anything you need for school on your phone. This
comes in handy when you forget your textbook at
home, or you didn’t get finished in class. Lastly, you
can just entertain yourself whenever you get bored,
and you can keep up with what all of your friends
are doing.
Lydia Culbertson, 8th grade, Surgoinsville Middle School,
Mrs. Hensley
The best invention of all time is eyeglasses. Many
people including myself have very horrible vision.
Glasses are such a wonderful invention. Many
people would not even be able to see without them.
I am so very thankful for my glasses.
