Late Work Grading Policy 1-2 Calendar Days Late Max 80% 3-4 Calendar Days Late Max 60% 5 or more Calendar Days Late Max 0% Major Grades 40% (Tests, Projects, Reports, etc.) Daily Grades 60% (Classroom assignments, Quizzes, Homework) (Subject to change as per new grading policies) Makeup work is available to all students. Students are responsible for asking teachers for the makeup work upon returning to class. Students shall receive credit for satisfactory makeup work after an absence, but may receive a zero for any test not made up within the allotted time. Any assignment not turned in within the allotted time falls within the late work guidelines, as per the EISD Instruction Grading Guidelines. Electronics Policy Cell phones, other mobile devices (laptops, tablets, notebooks, etc.), and other personal electronic devices (MP3 players, iPods, video or audio recorders, DVD players, cameras, etc.) must remain turned off during class unless they are being used for approved instructional purposes with the teacher’s permission. If caught using electronics without permission, it will be confiscated, as per the EHS handbook. Classroom Expectations 1. Be Safe Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. 2.
