Unlike the melons and the peaches these, as well as 13 of the 21 items in the
Large Fruit and veg box, are from the UK this week. They have a long growing
season but are at their best now, in the summer and yes we have a summer!
Great for a stir fry, steamed or (does anyone boil anymore?) boiled. In the
absence of a white cabbage you can even make your coleslaw with them.
Thanks to Paul our Buyer, the boxes are just great now, enjoying the benefits
of Cornish Potatoes, summer fruits, fresh salads, but also the things you want
every week. This week there is a saving of £9.10 based on the average price
from the four main supermarkets on the Large Fruit and Veg Box, so that’s
£30.10’s worth of fruit& veg for £21.00, delivered free to your door.
