An cooperation between the House of Craft Loftet and STARK
The House of Craft Loftet launches a contest to see who
can build or decorate the best birdhouse within the theme Ostrobothnia. The aim for the contest is to symbolize
the Ostrobothnia do it yourself- mentality through handicraft. The contest is open to all ages.
The birdhouses will visualize the journey of the migratory
birds from Ostrobothnia to the capital of Finland.
Let the fantasy flow!
At the Konsulinnan´s party, 6th of June at House of Crafts
in Vaasa, the visitors will have the opportunity to build
and paint their own “My Ostrobothnian – birdhouse”.
The motive can be something from our environment, for
example the world heritage, a combine harvester, a football plan or a state of mind. Something which is important
in their own home area.
In the container of the House of Craft Loftet at Pop-Up
Ostrobothnia in Helsinki Saturday 13.6 we will also give
the visitors the possibility to paint birdhouse from their
point of view on the Ostrobothnian field.
Competition time: 6.6 – 7.8 2015
All the birdhouses will be published at our homepage,
www.loftet.fi. You can vote for your choice of best birdhouse at Loftet’s Facebook-page. You can also leave your
vote in a box at House of Craft Loftet. The birdhouses will
be set up on the wall outside the House of Craft Loftet in
Vaasa. The birdhouses become an interesting eye-cathers
from the centralmarket square.
First prize: 50 euro presentcard at House of Craft Loftet
