Campbell House

The Campbell House is open only by appointment. Make an appointment here
“in 1851, the first house in the elegant Lucas Place neighborhood, it was the home of
renowned fur trader and entrepreneur Robert Campbell and his family from 1854 until
1938. The museum contains hundreds of original Campbell possessions including
furniture, paintings, clothing, letters, carriages and a unique set of interior photographs
taken in the mid-1880s. The Campbell House is not handicapped accessible.
Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis

This exhibition explores how contemporary artists consider the changing postwar urban
landscape, beginning with the rapid development of the highway system in the midtwentieth century and moving through industrialization’s continuing decline. Featuring work
in a range of media by over twenty international artists. This exhibit keeps its focus to
North America, acknowledging the various factors that have resulted in the irrevocable
transformation of cities while also highlighting how such conditions continue to offer some
of the most fertile ground for artistic inquiry today.

On the banks of the Mississippi River and north of the Gateway Arch, Historic Laclede’s
Landing is downtown St. Louis’ oldest district and only riverfront entertainment and dining
destination. The nine-block area of Laclede’s Landing is home to over twenty restaurants,

This park is framed by Union Station, Peabody Opera House, Soldier's Memorial
Military Museum, and the St. Louis Law School. Toward the eastern side of the park
are granite and stone monuments to each of the foreign wars between WWII, Korea

surrounding 200 mile radius, educator, art administrator, poet, and founder of UrbArts, a
nonprofit organization whose mission is to create platforms and platform creatives for
youth and community development.
