English River First Nation Band Hall
Patuanak, SK
If you or someone you know would like to share an experience or perspective about the
Indian Residential Schools, their impacts, or about reconciliation
Here’s How!
1.
Please attend your community event and meet with the statement gathering team to
have your statement recorded
2.
Bring photographs, materials and other items from your time at Residential School
3.
Record your statement (audio, video or written) and send it to us.
4.
Send us your artistic expression (songs, poetry, dance, art, etc.) of truth or
reconciliation.
The Truth of our common experiences will help set our spirits free
and pave the way to Reconciliation
If you share your experience, you will honour the memory of those who had no voice and
could not share. Please share your experience so future generations will know what
happened. There will be a National Research Centre that will continue to honour your
experience.
English River encourages all communities to attend and is open to everyone.
Please contact: Lawrence McIntyre 306 396-2055 or Kimberly Quinney, SK Regional Liaison @ 306

Health supports will be present to assist you.
