September 13-14, 2012 English River First Nation Band Hall Patuanak, SK If you or someone you know would like to share an experience or perspective about the Indian Residential Schools, their impacts, or about reconciliation Here’s How! 1. Please attend your community event and meet with the statement gathering team to have your statement recorded 2. Bring photographs, materials and other items from your time at Residential School 3. Record your statement (audio, video or written) and send it to us. 4. Send us your artistic expression (songs, poetry, dance, art, etc.) of truth or reconciliation. The Truth of our common experiences will help set our spirits free and pave the way to Reconciliation If you share your experience, you will honour the memory of those who had no voice and could not share. Please share your experience so future generations will know what happened. There will be a National Research Centre that will continue to honour your experience. English River encourages all communities to attend and is open to everyone.
