Internet Monitoring
The website provides each customer with
the actual daily minutes that their irrigation
controller ran (for each station/valve) over the
last 20 days after adjustment for weather
conditions. The daily weather adjustment factors
are also shown in the report on actual watering.
Water2Save provides its customers annual
irrigation water savings and water bill reduction
reports. Water2Save generates these reports
using copies of the water bills for each property.
These water savings reports can be accessed
using the customer’s user ID and password.
The website provides customers with the
total daily minutes that their irrigation
controller is programmed to activate (for each
station/valve) over the last 20 days. This
represents the baseline program set by
landscape personnel and entered into the
existing irrigation controller.

property via an Internet website managed by
Water2Save. The irrigation data collected from
each property is provided to the customer in an
Internet Irrigation Report that can be viewed via
the Internet using any Internet Web Browser.

Technical Features
Wireless Water Manager (WWM) is a communications and interrupt device that records and
adjusts irrigation watering times. It is not an
irrigation controller. The WWM attaches to an
existing irrigation controller and monitors watering
schedules that are programmed by the landscaper.
In addition to conserving water, the WWM also
records runtimes, cycles, start times and other such
irrigation operating data. The WWM’s data is

Do I need to train my landscapers to
use the system?

No, our system works with your current irrigation
equipment, the same equipment that your landscaper
already knows how to use. He is not required to learn a
new technology. The landscaper is also not required to
operate the equipment we install and add-on to the
irrigation system. A qualified irrigation water manager
operates the system remotely.
Does the system really work?

How much does the system cost?

We do not sell the equipment. We charge a low
monthly service fee that relates to the number of
systems we would install adjacent to your existing
irrigation equipment. There is no need to pay a large
up-front bill to begin saving water. Contact us and
we will be happy to discuss your property and its
savings potential.
What guarantees do I have that the
savings will not be less than the cost?

We offer all customers a guarantee that should
annual savings (after adjustments for circumstances
beyond our control) fall below our fixed fee, we will
continue to provide service at no cost to the customer
until such deficit is gone. Of course, if we save more
than expected, the customer keeps all the extra savings.
Why charge a fixed fee versus a
percentage of the savings?
We want you to feel confident that we are not
under watering your landscaping so we can make more
money from your property. Our fee is fixed so that
there is no conflict of interest between the amount of
water savings and the quality of the landscape.

No, we work with your current irrigation equipment
and you do not need to purchase a new controller or
learn new equipment.
Without performing an up-front audit, no one
knows how much you can save. We have many happy
customers using our system because we take the extra
step to qualify the potential savings before installing
our equipment. Not all properties will be able to save
enough money to justify installing our equipment. At
no cost to you, we check to see if your property meets
our criteria for dollar savings. If the data shows ample
savings opportunity, we will then present you the gross
and net savings (after paying our fixed fee) potential
for consideration.
How do I know the system is working?
After you become a customer, we track savings
performance using monthly water consumption data
from your utility bill as compared to the same period
historical water usage. We provide periodic savings
reports that will directly compare the usage before and
after our equipment was installed.

Over the last 8 years of running the service, we
have developed methods to use real-time satellite
weather feeds and current local-area National Weather
Service observations to determine the optimum
amount of water for your landscaping. We utilize
two-way wireless data communications and we can
immediately adjust your system for short and long-term
weather changes.

The system adjusts the amount of water applied to
your landscape using a wireless device that is added to
your existing irrigation controller or clock. We adjust
the amount of water according to current and
forecasted weather. This allows us to control usage to
the optimum amount of water for your landscape. We
typically turn off the landscape water a day or two
before it rains. We are constantly monitoring the
weather to reduce water on overcast and cool days.
Does your system provide more than
water savings?
Yes, absolutely. Our system provides many
additional savings beyond water savings. Our system
uses a two-way communications link from your
property to our office and we monitor the watering
times programmed by your landscapers. We can
detect when there is an unnecessary change in the
watering schedule for your property due to a controller
programming error, vandalism, malfunction or
excessive irrigation programming. In addition, because
we apply the right amount of water to your landscape,
we minimize water runoff, reduce the amount of
fertilizer, and your landscape becomes healthier
because we do not over-water your plants.

Yes. This web site contains customer web pages
accessible only by approved user password to view the
most recent watering times and comparative savings
reports for the customer's specific property. This data is
updated weekly and monthly. It is available to both
