Stem-Changing “Shoe” verbs
If a verb is referred to as a “stem-changing” or “shoe” verb, that means that a change in spelling and pronunciation
occur in the core, stem, or first portion of the verb. However, the nosotros(as) and vosotros(as) forms do not
follow the rule! When written out, the affected subjects create a “shoe”.
