Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)
• Governmental organization to promote mutual trade and
investment between Japan and the rest of the world
• Established in 1958
• Overseas offices: 74 (in 55 countries)*
• Japan offices: Tokyo Headquarters, JETRO Osaka,
46 regional offices, the Institute of Developing
Economies (IDE-JETRO) *
• Employees: 1,735 (998 in Japan and 737 overseas)**
