Fundamentals training: Wednesday, January 25, 2017 6:00-9:00 P.M. Training will be held at Line Drive University Minden, NV. At least one manager/coach from each team MUST attend the training. Every Manager/Coach will attend this training at least once every 3 years. ASAP Plan Page 3 6. Mandatory AED/CPR training Saturday, January 28, 2017 9:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Line Drive University Minden, NV. Carson Valley Little League will require at least one Manager/Coach from each team to attend. Every Manager/Coach must attend this training yearly. * Concussion training-All Managers/Coaches must take the web on line concussion training course, before there first scheduled practice. ASAP Plan Page 4 7. Coaches will be required to walk/inspect the fields prior to practices and games. Umpires will also be requires to walk the field for hazards before each game ASAP Plan Page 5 8. CVLL has completed and updated our 2017 Facility Survey on-line. 9. The CVLL Safety Officer will inspect all equipment in the pre-season • Managers/Coaches will inspect equipment prior to each game. • Umpires will be required to inspect equipment prior to each game 11. Implement Prompt Accident Reporting The CVLL will use the provided incident tracking form from the Little League website and will provide completed accident forms to Safety Officer with 24-48 hours of an incident. Please see copy of accident reporting form ASAP Plan Page 7 12. Each team will be issued and updated First Aid Kit and is required to have it at every practice and game 13. CVLL will require ALL TEAMS to enforce ALL Little League Rules Including: a. Proper Catcher’s Equipment b. No On-deck batters c. Coaches will not warm up pitchers d. Bases will disengage on all fields 14. League Player Registration or Player Roster Data and Coach and Manager Data. • League Player Registration Data or Player Roster Data and Coach and Manager Data must be submitted via the Little League Data center at WWW.LittleLeague.org Mandatory requirement for an approved ASAP plan. ASAP Plan Page 8 CVLL Season/Registration Info • Our Little League 2017 Season is just around the corner and the Board has been working diligently in the last month to prepare for it. Our registration dates have been set and the website www.carsonvalleylittleleague.com has been updated. Please stop by for a review of all the information. There are a few minor changes this season, as well as good reminders for everyone. • Registration-online registration will begin in early January. You will need to come to one of the signup sessions to provide documentation. • The Registration Sessions will be held at Douglas High School in the Commons area on the following dates Wednesday February 1, 6pm-8pm Satruday February 4, 9am-1pm Saturday February 11, 9am-1pm • Some of the documentation requirements had changed this year for address verification Please visit the website to learn more about the requirements and other registration information
