We arrive in Lisbon and are greeted by our English speaking tour director and embark on a sightseeing tour to
discover the city: the old quarter of Alfama, the Cathedral and Church of Saint Anthony, the beautiful squares of
Praça do Comercio, Rossio the historical quarter of Belém, with the Monastery of Jerónimos, the Monument of the
Discoveries and the Tower of Belem. Mass will be celebrated. Overnight Lisbon with dinner at hotel. (D)

Breakfast. Departure for Santarem, to discover the Church of St. Stephen, containing the Eucharistic Miracle and to
celebrate Mass. We continue to Fatima, the famous pilgrimage center, where the Blessed Mother appeared in 1917
to three simple shepherd children and exhorted mankind to pray for world peace. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
in Fatima. (B.D.)

Breakfast. In the morning we have time to visit the village of
Aljustrel to see the homes of the three holy children. We have
lunch on our own, followed by a visit to the Basilica. At 5:30 PM
we join the special Eucharistic Healing Procession, which takes
place in the Cova de Iria. We celebrate Mass at the Basilica and
participate in the spiritual program at the Shrine of Our Lady of
Fatima. Diner and accommodation at the hotel in Fatima. (B.D.)

Breakfast. Departure to Coimbra to visit the seven-hundred-year
old University of Coimbra, the Cathedral and the Santa Cruz
Monastery. We see the convent where Sr. Lucia lived and the
incorrupt body of St. Isabel. We stop in the lovely town of Aveiro,
also known as Venice of Portugal. We then drive a short distance
to the city of Porto where we have a city tour and enjoy port
tasting at a local port making facility. We celebrate Mass in
Porto. Dinner and overnight in Porto. (B.D.)
Breakfast. We depart for Braga where we see the Shrine of Blessed Alessandria and visit Braga which also includes the
famous Cathedral, the St. Frutuoso Chapel, the Sanctuary and the Baby Jesus. It is one of the most famous pilgrimage
centers in the Iberian Peninsula. We celebrate Mass, then continue to Pontevedra for dinner and overnight. (B.D.)

We start the day together with Breakfast and Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady.
walkers will depart by foot towards Santiago de Compostela, the rest of the group
departs by bus to La Coruna.
Walking Pilgrimage – Walking the Camino
Morning: After breakfast and Mass with the full group, we go on to Tui to begin our
walk on the Camino. The historical center is a walled section from the 13th
century. Our walk crosses the Louro river, leading to Santa Eulalia and the Marquis
of Mos palace. (Morning: 15 km / 9mi, 3-4 hours) after a lunch break, we continue
our Camino - taking us to the Romanesque church of Santa María. Not far from
here, we will enter in Pontevedra, one the most beautiful cities in Galicia.

The Walking Pilgrimage is subject

– Age, Level of Fitness, Size and
Weather. We will have a support
vehicle and will stay in hotels on
the Camino. Fr. Joseph will join
the Walking Pilgrimage, while
Br. Joachim accompanies the rest
of the group on the bus.
Bus Group- Pontevedra - Santiago
After the walkers begin walking the Camino, we depart on our private bus to La Coruna in Galicia, a Spanish
region of vast green landscapes with a rich Celtic and Roman heritage. La Coruna is home to world’s oldest
working lighthouse. Dinner and accommodations in Santiago de Compostela for the bus group. (B.D.)

Walking Pilgrimage - Pontevedra ‐ Caldas de Reis ‐ Padrón
We start our day with breakfast and Mass, with a visit to Our Lady of
Ponteverda. This morning we walk through the vineyards and olive
groves of the Galician countryside,seeing the parish of Alba and the
village of Briallos. (morning: 21 km/13 mi 4-5 hours). After lunch and a
rest at Caldas de Reis, we continue through the countryside passing
through O Pino and San Miguel de Valga, two hamlets. When we reach
Pontecesures, where the River Ulla forms a natural border between the
provinces of Pontevedra and A Coruña, we cross the river into Padron for
dinner and overnight. (afternoon: 19 km / 11½ mi, 5-6 hours) (B.D.)

Bus Group - La CorunaAfter breakfast, we begin a tour to La Coruna. After Santiago de Compostela, this
is probably Galicia’s most visited location. In addition to the lighthouse, La
Courona has the Tower of Hercules and the galeria (glass fronted) harbor
buildings that have given rise to it becoming known as the “glass city”. The
afternoon is at leisure to spend at the beach. We return to Santiago de
Compostela. We are free to explore and have dinner on our own in Santiago. (B.)

Our last stage will lead us into a constant ascent crossing small settlements with beautiful heritage such as Iria
Flavia, A Escravitude or Angueira de Suso, before arriving in Santiago. (23 km/14 mi, 5‐6 hours)

Bus Group -Santiago de Compostela
Breakfast. The day is a mini-retreat for the bus group and a visit to
a local mansion with magnificent landscaped gardens, lakes and
waterfalls.

Cathedral of Santiago. We will celebrate Mass together and visit
the Cathedral. Tonight we have a festive farewell dinner with wine

Deposits and final payment: A deposit of $500.00 per
person by check should accompany the registration form
along with your optional insurance payment by May 12,
2016. Final payment is due by July 17, 2017. Please mail

Your passport must be valid at least six month after
the date of the trip return. Ticketing can not be
processed until we have passport copies. Please submit
with your registration, or as soon as possible
afterwards.
ALL Prices quoted are based on cash payments.Credit
card prices and payments will be quoted on request.
Airline, seating and special requests: Seats are
assigned by the airlines. We do not reserve specific
seats. You may change your seat, provide mileage
program information and passenger contact information
directly with the airlines once the ticket numbers are
received.

departure). All special needs and requests due to medical
or dietary restrictions must be requested in writing at
least 60 days prior to departure. Business class and
premium coach seats are available upon request as are
add-ons from your hometown airport.
Single supplement: Prices are based on two people
per room. A limited number of single rooms are available
at an additional cost: Standard Package: $395 / Walking
the Camino: $550. We do not guarantee roommates but
will do our best to connect you with a possible share.
Land Only Option: Standard Package – Land Only:
$2250 / Walking the Camino – Land Only: $2590. Land
only services start and end at the hotels, unless you are
able to meet the group at the airport, and do not include
airfare.
Baggage: Each participant is permitted to check (1)
suitcase weighing no more than 50 lbs., and one small
carry-on bag on the plane. Airline baggage fees are not
included. Please check the specific baggage fees on the
airline website.
Tour Cancellation Policy: $350.00 non-refundable.
90-60 days before departure a total of $500.00 is nonrefundable. Within 60 days of departure all payments
are non-refundable regardless
of reason for
cancellations. All cancellations must be in writing.
Unused portions of the trip are not refundable.
We strongly urge you to purchase Trip Cancellation
/ Travel Insurance (additional fee). The Deluxe Basic
Coverage policy, which provides protection if you need
to cancel due to illness or job loss or Cancel for Any
Reason policy, which we recommend. Pricing is based
on your trip cost.

Your Trip Cost includes package price plus any
