Plural Spelling Rules Purpose: Visual aid to introducing / practising forming plurals and complying with spelling rules. Use: After input and discussion re. page 2, give each learner (or group of learners) 5 coloured pens (corresponding to each of the colour-coded boxes on the grid). Hand out copies of pages 4 and 5. Ask learners to go through and circle the words with the right colour. Then ask learners to complete the worksheet (page 6), using the information in the Grid on page 2 to help them form the plurals. Alternatively, create word cards from pages 4-5.
