Send mail quickly and easily
Address it correctly, seal the envelope, and your letter is ready to
send. Our convenient Pre-franked envelopes are available in a
variety of formats and versions (including Pre-franked air cushion
envelopes) at postshop.ch and your local post office.
PostPac – the ideal packaging
PostPac is the practical packaging range from Swiss Post,
available in a variety of dimensions from all post offices and at
swisspost.ch/postpac.

A Mail Plus
PromoPost Next Day
A Mail Plus is the right way to send consignments with contents that require
more security than A Mail (e.g. tickets).
An A Mail Plus letter can be tracked electronically from dispatch to delivery. Delivery does not require a signature. Liability
for loss, damage or incorrect delivery of
up to CHF 100.00.
Delivery times
PromoPost Next Day allows you to reach
all the residential addresses and private
customer post boxes in Switzerland. If
they are submitted on time, the unaddressed consignments will arrive on the
next working day (Monday to Friday).
You can send items with a weight of up
to 50 g, a size of up to format B5 and a
thickness of up to 5 mm for CHF 0.40 each.

Customs formalities
Maxi letter International
For consignments of up to 2 kg containing goods whose value does not exceed
CHF 400.00, it is sufficient to use the
green customs label. If you do not want
to state the consignment’s value (e.g. if it
is a gift), you can use a customs declaration instead of the green customs label.

The published delivery times for URGENT
consignments apply only to large cities and
urban areas. For enquiries about delivery
times, call on +41 (0)800 45 45 45.
Note on URGENT
P.O. Box and poste restante addresses are
not permitted. The recipient’s phone
number is required. The postage of medicine to private persons is excluded and
foodstuffs are only permitted subject to
certain conditions.
Tax and duty may be due in the receiving
country. Please note the country-specific
transport and import regulations.

consignments
All consignments must be accompanied
by a waybill. The maximum weight for
PostPac International is 30 kg, or 20 kg
for some countries. The maximum weight
for URGENT goods is 30 kg, and 2 kg for
URGENT documents.

As a rule, it is up to the sender to obtain
information about import and export options from the relevant authorities in the
destination country or from the relevant
consulates. Swiss Post accepts no responsibility for this.
