Guestrooms:
Lansdowne Resort and Spa features 296 newly redesigned guest rooms, including
signature suites and two Presidential Suites, all with panoramic views of the
resort’s championship golf courses, Potomac River and nearby mountains. The
newly redesigned rooms and suites feature a sleek new style that celebrates the
resort’s distinctive location in Leesburg, VA. In partnership with nationallyacclaimed MONOGRAM Hospitality Interiors, the color palette of the guestrooms
was selected to coincide with the picturesque views of the expansive estate. Soft,
earth-toned colors were used to capture the essence of wine country while
textured fabrics and clean-lined furnishings were chosen to provide a residential
ambiance in every room. Furniture and décor pay homage to Virginia’s wine
country, with bar carts employed as mini bars, ‘wine cask’ nightstands, and
glasses made from recycled wine bottles. This resort features sophisticated blend
of refined design, upgraded luxury amenities and exquisite furnishings, all
inspired by the destination.

championship golf, a dual practice range, and a five-pool Aquatic Complex.
Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Course: A spectacular environment showcasing the
master touch of golf course designer Robert Trent Jones, Jr. This superb 18-hole
layout incorporates fields, woodlands, natural stone outcroppings and centuriesold rock walls. A classic experience awaits both the accomplished and novice
golfer on the 7,057-yard, par-72 course.
The Norman Course: Designed by the legendary Greg Norman, the Norman
Course presents golfers with a stunning setting for a championship match. The
design incorporates the natural undulations of the Potomac River Valley, using
2
Norman’s “Least Disturbance Approach.” The front nine of the courses ventures
west along the river toward Goose Creek, while the back nine runs east along the
Potomac River, parallel to 14, 15 and 16. The last four holes on the front nine
measure exactly 1,760 yards—equal to one mile—creating, according to Norman,
“The Hardest Mile in Golf.”
The Sharkbite Course: Greg Norman has also designed a more forgiving 9-hole
short course, perfect for team-building. The course is designed for junior golfers,
families and all golfing enthusiasts, located adjacent to the front nine of the
Norman Course, along the Potomac River. The course is also home to the AFGL
certified FootGolf course featuring par 3’s, 4’s and a few par 5’s along the way.
