SELECTION DOCUMENTATION Non-ongoing Casual Scribe Level 6 $55 - $63 per hour (plus superannuation) ROLE ASIS is seeking experienced scribes to fill casual vacancies based in Canberra. Positions are nonongoing for up to three years, with the possibility of extension beyond three years. Joining a high performing team, you will assist with ASIS recruitment and selection processes, compiling of records of interview, conducting referee interviews and composing reports on behalf of the selection committee. We are seeking committed, reliable individuals who can offer high level quality services, on a casual basis. Applicants must display excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong report writing skills to be considered for this position. You may also be provided with the opportunity to support ASIS by providing scribing services in support of workplace investigations, strategic planning and other ASIS wide projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AND TASKS Outlined below are the key areas of responsibility for the non-ongoing casual scribe: Provision of scribing services including; o Shortlisting o Recording of interview outcomes o Referee checking o Preparing selection reports Administrative support including the coordination of recruitment processes and scheduling of interview; and General administrative duties in support of recruitment activities. The following activities may also be undertaken Attending interviews as an independent panel member; Interstate travel; and Scribing services in support of workplace investigations. EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE The following education, qualifications and/or experience will be highly regarded: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Commitment to providing a high level of service; The ability to work within a team environment; and Demonstrated experience in producing written material in Government.
