TECHNOLOGY
The Technoheater range utilises carbon fibre infrared heating
elements which are the future of heating. Unlike other heaters, the
Technoheater doesn't heat air, metal or water, they heat the person.
The Technoheater range is much much more efficient and cost
effective than other gas heaters.
Another advantage of the Technoheater range is the lack of heavy
gas cylinders or other fuel sources as the Technoheater runs off a
standard mains power output. The patented carbon fibre heating
elements are able to emit heat through infrared waves whilst
operating at extremely low running costs.
The Technoheater range's running costs are 75% cheaper than
comparable heaters. The heaters have an effective heating
coverage of 3.5m and a heating angle of 130° which gives an

that there was a need for safe, efficient,

quality outdoor / indoor portable heating

HOW IT WORKS
You probably learned about infrared light
when you studied wavelengths in science
class. You also might have heard about
infrared radiation or infrared technology, and
that infrared light isn't visible as it is beyond
the spectrum which we can see. That's the gist
of an infra-red heater: The heat is a product
of light that is invisible to our eyes. The
reason we get warm from an infra-red heater
is because our skin and clothes absorb the
light. It's like the difference between being
directly in the sunlight versus sitting in the
shade. You feel warm in the sun because the
light that hits your clothes and skin keeps you
warm, but when you're in the shade, the light
doesn't reach you as well.
Feeling warm or cold does not actually depend
on the temperature of the surrounding air. For
example, skiers and mountain climbers do not
freeze even in extremely cold, but sunny, air.
They are bathed by rays from the sun, which
include infra-red. We experience this heat
directly on our skin and by rays reflected by
the environment (snow, stones, earth etc.).
When infra-red waves touch a surface, heat
energy is released regardless of the
surrounding air temperature. So people on a
winter sports holiday are able to sunbathe
despite the low temperatures - all thanks to
Infra-red.
