Immunization Clinics a. Immunizations are available for both children and adults by appointment. b. Calumet County Health Division offers childhood vaccines at no charge to children up to 19 years of age who are in one of the following categories: 1. Have no health insurance 2. Are covered by Medical Assistance (Forward Health Care/Badger Care) 3. Whose health Insurance does not cover the needed vaccines 4. Who are American Indian or Alaska Native 2. Parenting Education a. Offered to the parent on an individual basis. b. Call for information. 3. WIC Program (Women - Infants - Children) a. Food supplement program for pregnant women, infants and children through age 5. b. Health and financial needs determine eligibility. 4. Car Seat Safety a. Certified technicians provide safety education. b. Free car seat safety checks are available by appointment, call (920) 849-1432. c. Free car seats are available to qualifying families. 5. Individual Health Education a. Public Health Nurses provide services. b. Call for information. 6. Lead Poison Prevention Services a. Free blood lead testing for children 6 months to 6 years of age that have no health insurance or are underinsured. b.
