Emergency Sub Plans
Thank you so much for being my sub in this emergency!
Below are five days of emergency plans in case nothing more specific was left you. Please write
all the instructions below on the board. If my absence is for more than a day, please update the
emergency plan each day. Basically, the students will be responsible for reading a story each
day of my absence.
As students read, they should complete the work associated with the short story on notebook
paper. They have all of the class period to finish, but they must turn in their work at the end of
class, whether or not they are complete. They must use their class time productively, so no
additional student should be given additional time unless directed by our department head.
There might be exceptions for a student or two, but our department head will communicate
any exceptions to you.
Thank you again for being a sub, and please make use of the behavior log form, bathroom pass
form, and comments section of the sub binder as necessary!
