This will give you the total m2 amount of lawn required to complete the project. Conduct PH testing on all areas prior to applying quality wetting agents, soil amendments and fertilisers. Lightly rake the soil to incorporate the fertiliser etc and water in well. A firm moist soil bed helps to encourage lawn establishment. The Water Corporation has granted an exemption from watering restrictions for new lawn installations. To register for this exemption simply ring 13 10 39 with your details. During the vital first days your lawn should not be allowed to dry out. For the first two weeks water three times a day to a depth of 10ml per application, preferably early morning, midday and late afternoon. After two weeks watering can gradually be reduced. Working towards a fixed watering plan of two 10ml waterings per week.
