IMPROVING CONTROL OF MARESTAIL WITH A FALL HERBICIDE APPLICATION
TRIAL PROTOCOL
Ohio State University conducted a field trial comparing a standard fall-applied residual/burn down herbicide application to a standard
application + ORO-RZ application for the control of marestail (Conyza Canadensis). The herbicide applications were done in November 2013
and final treatment performance ratings were done in October 2014. The ratings were taken at 7 DAT, 230 DAT and 320 DAT.
The standard program + ORO-RZ achieved significantly better levels of control for each period (See chart on pg. 2).
