RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE PERFORMING ARTISTS
1) Call Lina (905-374-4136) to reserve your audition time (Auditions will be held at Club Italia on Tuesday, March 19th
between approx. 3-8pm)
2) Any cancellations for auditions must be reported to our office by March 15.
3) Participants will be selected on a first come, first serve basis (pending suitability of content for public performance,
space/equipment constraints, and the desired length of the show.)
4) No one will be allowed to perform in the show if he/she has not registered or auditioned.
5) The following categories will be permitted for performance: singing, dancing, instrumentals, poetry, readings,
comedy, drama, skits and novelty acts.
6) All acts must be appropriate for family audiences.
7) Auditions are closed and are only open to performers.
8) CDs are allowed for accompaniment only. They must consist of only the item being used for the performance.
9) Lip sync performances are not permitted.
10) Participants are responsible for their own props and costumes.
11) Be prepared to enter and exit the performance area quickly to keep the show flowing. Therefore, plan ahead with any
“set up/tear down” your performance might require.
12) Parent/guardian must sign registration form.
13) Each act will have up to 4 minutes to perform and up to 5 minutes to set up.
14) Rules are subject to change at the sole discretion of the Talent Show organizers.
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE VISUAL ARTISTS
Who Can Enter: Young artists, ages 5-17 are encouraged to enter our Art Display showcase.
Exhibition Date: April 14th, 12:30-4:30pm, Club Italia Ballroom and Lobby
Submission Dates: Work must be delivered to Club Italia on March 20th, anytime between 6-8pm for review.
Number of Submissions: Up to three pieces of art work can be submitted per artist.
Acceptable Media: All media is acceptable – paintings, drawings, collages, sculptures, photography, etc. 2D work must be
framed and labelled. Work should be labelled on the reverse side with your name.
Notification: Artists will be notified by phone or email of the selection committee’s decision no later than March 26th.
