Networked Student Support Project 2009-11
Project Aims
Develop a high quality, sustainable and cost effective networked system to assist UHI
academic partners deliver support to an increasing number and diversity of new
students.
Implement a two year capacity building approach
with a team of internally recruited experts to
strengthen the provision of networked student
support.
Contribute to the professional development of
practitioners in UHI academic partners through the
development of expertise in specific aspects of
student support using internal secondments.
Produce a range of high quality student support
online resources and tools which make best use of
existing and emergent technologies, acts as first line
self-referral facility for students, practitioners and academic advisers,
and is available when required.
