1. How can I get a student season football ticket this year? When do I register for them?
- Student season football ticket requests will be accepted from Monday, April 16 at 9:00 a.m. until
Tuesday, July 10 at 4:00 p.m. To request your student season football ticket, please log on to
your Gamecock Student Ticket Account Manager.
2. I am a part-time undergraduate/graduate student at USC. How much is the athletics event fee so I can
request a student season football ticket?
- The athletics event fee is $86, and that fee has to be added to your tuition bill by the Bursar’s
Office (803-777-4233). The Bursar’s Office also accepts payment for this fee. The Office of
Student Ticketing DOES NOT handle the athletics fee payment.
3. How do I receive information on student season football tickets?
- For information regarding the student season football ticket process, please visit the Gamecocks
Online Ticket Office Homepage and the student ticketing information is at the bottom of the
page.
4. I’m unsure of how to log in. How do I go about doing this?
- When you enroll into the University and pay your fees, you will receive an email that includes
your account number and password. If you do not receive that information, please contact the
Student Ticketing Office at 803-777-6102 or email [email protected].
5. Do I have to be registered for the Fall semester in order to be able to request a student season football
ticket?
- Yes, you must be registered for the Fall semester at the University of South Carolina-Columbia in
order to be able to request a student season football ticket.
6. How much are football tickets?
- The student season football ticket (includes all home games) is FREE of charge. Away game ticket
prices vary by game.
7. What is the lottery?
- The lottery is administered if the demand for student season football tickets exceeds the
allotment. Students are prioritized by points and then awarded a season ticket.
8. What is the point system?
- Points are accumulated by a student when they attend athletic events (football, men’s and
women’s basketball, and baseball) and other events (away game tailgates, etc.). All students
start with at least 3 points. The more athletic events you attend, the more points you
accumulate.
9. How do I know if I have won the lottery?
- If you are selected in the lottery, you will receive an email notification that will include the
necessary steps you need to take to secure your season ticket.
10. Are there guest tickets for non-students, out of town guest, etc.?
- Due to the large demand of football tickets at the University of South Carolina, there is NOT a
guest ticket option for students.
11. What if my parents want to purchase tickets?
- If your parents or other family members are interested in purchasing tickets, they can visit the
Gamecock Ticket Office website or contact them at 803-777-4274 to purchase tickets over the
phone.
12. Can I sit with my parents if they have purchased tickets?
- In order to sit with your parents, they have to purchase a ticket for you. You cannot use your
student ticket to sit with your parents in other areas of Williams Brice Stadium.
13. What is the student ticket allotment?
- Student ticket allotment is about 14% of Williams Brice Stadium’s total capacity.
14. What gates of Williams Brice Stadium are designated for student entry?
- Students with upper deck season tickets will enter Gate 18
- Students with lower deck (GA) season tickets will enter Gates 23, 25, and 26
15. Can I sit anywhere?
- Students with a lower deck season ticket can sit anywhere in Sections 23-34
- Students with an upper deck season ticket MUST sit in the seat that is printed on their print-athome ticket
16. What if I decide I don’t want to go to a particular game?
- If you do not want to go to a particular game, you have the ability to transfer your unused ticket
to the Student TicketExchange site so that other students who do not have a ticket can transfer
the ticket to their Carolina Card so they can use it.
17. How long do I have to transfer my game ticket onto my Carolina Card?
- Ticket transfers occur the week of each game beginning on Mondays at 9:00 a.m. until Thursdays
at 5:00 p.m.
18. What happens if I forget to transfer (claim) my game ticket?
- If you forget to transfer your game ticket, the ticket will be made available on a first come, first
serve basis on the Student TicketExchange site.
19. What happens if I don’t use the ticket I transferred (claim) onto my Carolina Card?
- If you don’t use the ticket you transferred onto your Carolina Card that is considered a no-show,
and the no-show policy will be enforced meaning you will lose your season ticket for the
remainder of the football season. There is an appeal process for circumstances that are out of
your control. Please contact the Student Ticketing Office on the following MONDAY to make an
appeal. Appeals will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
20. What if I have an upper deck season ticket and forget to print my print-at-home ticket?
- If you forget to print your upper deck print-at-home ticket, you will need to come to the box
office at the stadium and talk to the Student Ticketing Coordinator.
21. I am married. How do I get my spouse a student ticket? Kids?
- If you are married or have children, you will have to purchase ticket(s) for them. If you would
like to sit with them you will have to forfeit your student ticket and purchase a ticket for yourself
as well. *Per the Southeastern Conference rules, everyone regardless of age (including infants)
has to have a ticket to enter Williams Brice Stadium*
22. When do away game tickets go on sale for students?
- You can purchase tickets to away games at the same time when you request your student season
football ticket. Away game prices are listed below:

23. Is there transportation available for students to home games? Away games?
- Transportation is available to students FREE OF CHARGE to ALL HOME GAMES via the University
shuttles. For more information regarding the shuttle service, click HERE.
- Transportation is NOT provided to away games. Student Government sponsors an annual
Carolina Convoy trip for one away game of their choice. That trip includes a ticket to that away
game, transportation, and food.
24. Where do I park for games if I would like to drive?
- Individual game parking is available at the Farmer’s Market and SC Fairgrounds for $35 per car.
