General blackjack information Blackjack is a comparing card game between a player and dealer. Blackjack is played with 8 decks of 52 cards. The cards are re-shuffled each game round. The object of the game is to "beat the dealer", which can be done in a number of ways. • Player gets 21 points on the first two cards (Blackjack) Without a dealer blackjack. • Reach a final score higher than the dealer without exceeding 21 points. • Let the dealer draw a score higher than 21 points. Card value The value of the cards 2-9 is equal to the numeric value of the card. Aces can be used a either 1 or 11 points. 2-9 10,J,Q,K A 2-9, value is equal to the numeric value of the card 10 1/11 Payout Blackjack 3:2 Win (no blackjack) 1:1 Draw; return of bet The game The player first place his bets, when the bets are placed. The player and the dealer are dealt an initial two-card hand. Both Player’s cards and the dealer’s first card will be dealt face up a, the dealer’s other card is dealt face down. Blackjack When the first two cards together have a value of 21, it’s Blackjack. Blackjack is the highest hand. When the player wins with a blackjack (the dealer has no blackjack) the win is 1.5 times the value of the bet. If both dealer and player are dealt a Blackjack it's considered a push and the bet will be returned. Blackjack beats a hand of 21 that is made out of three or more cards and 21's resulting from a split. Dealer checks for Blackjack When the dealer’s visible card is an ace or worth 10 points the dealer checks for blackjack. When the card faced down is an Ace, the dealer has blackjack and the game ends. When the player doesn't have blackjack, the dealer wins. When the visible card of the dealer is an ace an insurance will be offered to the player. The players is able to buy "insurance" by adding an additional 0.5 times your initial bet. When the dealer has Blackjack the player will win his insurance bet times 2. When the dealer does not get Blackjack, the player will lose his insurance and the game will continue with the initial bet. When neither the player/ all players as the dealer got blackjack the game continues. The dealer’s second card is still face down. Now its up to the player to beat the dealer without getting over 21 points. The player has three options; Hit, Stand or Double Hit and stand The player may stand (refuse any further cards) or hit (accept another card). A player can hit as many cards as he desires until the cards reach a total value of 21 or more. When this total points is over 21 the player loses immediately regardless of the dealer’s hand result. When the player chooses to ‘stand’ he accepts his cards. Now it’s the dealers turn. First the dealer opens his card that’s faced down. When the dealers first two cards together don’t have a value of 17 or more, the dealer needs to ‘Hit’ another card. The dealer has to take hits until his cards have a total value of 17 or more points. The player wins if he didn’t bust (over 21 points) and have a total that is higher than the dealer's. The dealer loses if it busts or has a lesser valued hand than the player who has not busted. If the player and dealer have the same point total, this is called a "push", and the bets will be reimbursed. Double The player is allowed to double the initial bet in exchange for committing to stand after receiving exactly one more card. The additional bet is added to the original bet. Split When the players first two cards have the same value, the player can split them into two hands. The cards are separated and the dealer draws an additional card on each, placing one bet with each hand. The player then continues to play the two separate hands in turn. Only one split per player is allowed. When splitting two aces, the player is not allowed to draw any more cards after the split. When the player has chosen to ‘stand’ or when he reached a total of 21 points ore more and the dealer has a total of 17 or more the game ends. When the player’s cards have a higher value than the dealer’s cards (but not over 21), the player wins. When the value is equal, the player get back his bet. Place bets Bets can be placed for one, two or three hands. When the player bet on one hand, the dealer deals the player one hand. When the player bets on two hands, the dealer deals him two hands. Clear bet Press ‘clear bet’ to clear all bets. Select the chip with the X to remove bets per chip. Rebet/ New bet After a game the player has the option to ‘rebet’ or place a ‘new bet’. Select ‘rebet’ to place the exact same bet as bet on the previous hand. Select ‘new bet’ to remove the bet and place a new bet. When there is not enough credit on a players account to rebet, this option will not be given.
